The choice of a robin and the claim perfectly fits a dynamic, highly determined Group that has made the commitment to safeguarding the area, caring for people and process sustainability its founding values of corporate governance.

The robin is a strong yet delicate creature. Its small size and graceful appearance, enhanced by its elegant red breast, encapsulate its determined, tenacious and courageous character. It is even prepared to fight if its territory comes under threat. In many cultures its appearance accompanies the onset of winter, but at the same time it symbolises the hope that life can endure hardship and withstand the harshest of seasons, and it brings a good omen for the new year. 

Loyal, caring and gifted with proverbial vitality, the robin combines great dynamism with a sensitive and intelligent character, difficult for any predator to catch. Its melodious song inspired the main theme of Chopin's Grande Polonaise Brillante and since the 19th century it has traditionally been known as the ‘Chopin of the air’. These characteristics make the robin the perfect archetype of the values that have always guided the company’s operations and that find their ultimate synthesis in the ‘all-round sustainability’ claim. 

Clara Stabiumi, who supervised the group's first sustainability report and its new visual, has "dedicated this concerted effort to all the families of the Group’s employees”, adding the joy of being “depicted by a robin, which symbolises strength, rebirth and loyalty to one’s territory, paying tribute to Brescia, known as the Lioness of Italy”.
